Welcome on the website of the Kortrijk/Wevelgem X-Mas tournament. Here you will find all the usefull information about the 2009 edition. Basketball teams Konvert Interim Kortrijk Sport, TMCI Wevelgem and Jeugd Basket Wevelgem are for the first time organizing together this first 3 days event.
We are happy to welcome teams from Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Germany, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and of course some of the best Belgian teams. Spectacular and close games seem granted.
This fourth edition is in line with the successfull earlier ones. We tried to keep the good points and we have put an effort in adapting wherever we found room for improvement. We aim at building this tournament into a high standard international event, open for the better Belgian and foreign teams.
As we organize for the first time over three days, the tournament formula has been adapted. We will organize five games for each team, and we will try to do this in the best possible circumstances.
We hope that we can offer you a high level tournament, without forgetting random animation. If you have any comment or question before or during the tournament, please don?t hesitate in contacting someone of the organizing committee. We try to take into consideration the participant?s wishes and proposals to the maximum extent possible, and we are willing to correct wherever needed.
May we ask to send the needed information regarding your teams as soon as possible towards peter.delepeleire(at)telenet.be
We hope meeting everybody in great shape on 26, 27 and 28 December.
The organizing committee
